Wild Chi Tai Chi

Tai Chi in the Parks and Green Spaces

Gentle movement, fresh air, and space to simply be

These relaxed outdoor sessions are an open invitation to step out of the busyness of life and into something slower, softer, and more connected.

Practising Tai Chi in nature brings a different quality — the rhythm of the breath, the movement of the body, and the sounds of the park all weaving together. It’s simple, grounding, and quietly restorative.

Weekly sessions:

  • Mondays 2–3pm – Fort Royal Park
  • Wednesdays 5:30pm-6:30pm (British Summertime) – Gheluvelt Park
  • Fridays 10–11am – Gheluvelt Park

All sessions are gentle, accessible, and suitable for beginners as well as those with experience.

There’s no pressure to “get it right” — just space to move, breathe, and enjoy.

By Donation – Everyone Welcome

These classes are offered on a donation basis, with the intention of making Tai Chi available to everyone, regardless of financial situation.

There’s no fixed cost — simply give what feels right for you, if you’re able. Suggested Donation is £8

Originally set up as a Community Interest Company, the sessions have naturally evolved into this simpler, more open model — one that keeps the focus where it belongs: on wellbeing, community, and shared practice.
